Επηρεασμένη καθαρά από τον σκληρό Σουηδικό ήχο( όπως Entombed,Opeth,Nightrage κτλ) αλλά και από λίγο Paradise Lost και Candlemass,θα σας παρουσιάσουμε τα τέσσερα κομμάτια του δίσκου.
Το ΕΡ ξεκινάει με το “Into The Arms Of Grief” του οποίου τα φωνητικά φέρνοθν πολύ στα brutal των Opeth και με riff στυλ Entombed αναφέρονται στον θάνατο και την δυστυχία,καθώς το ακούς σε πιάνει μια βαθιά μελαγχολία και το ψύχος σκεπάζει τις σκέψεις σου.
Συνεχίζουμε με το δεύτερο κομμάτι “Leaving” (το οποίο υπήρχε και στο προηγούμενο single) ένα αργό κομμάτι(που στην αρχή η μουσική μου φέρνει λίγο στο μυαλό Nyktalgia και γενικότερα SDBM) ένα κομμάτι αφιερωμένο στην θλίψη και την νοσταλγία καθώς και στην απομόνωση των ανθρώπων,κομμάτι που πραγματικά αγγίζει με τον δικό του,ξεχωριστό,”άγριο” τρόπο!!!
Το τρίτο κομμάτι με τον τίτλο “Shadows And Dust” φέρνει στο μυαλό έντονα τα αργά μέρη του “Left Hand Path” καθώς και λίγο από τα μελωδικά/ακουστικά μέρη των Nightrage,επίσης σου έρχεται στο μυαλό και η gothic/doom πλευρά με λίγο Katatonia,Opeth και Paradise Lost(κυρίως από το πρώτο album). Ένα κομμάτι που σε παρασέρνει στο μαύρο φόρεμα της δυστυχίας και ων δεινών.
Και τέταρτο κομμάτι το πιο μελωδικό και απαλό του δίσκου “The Burial”,που για μια ακόμη φορά σε ταξιδεύει στα εφιαλτικά,μελαγχολικά και δυσάρεστα κρύα μέρη του Βορρά με απαλά ακούσματα της ακουστικής κιθάρας και των τυμπάνων και προς το τέλος με αργόσυρτα riffs της ηλεκτρικής να μένεις άφωνος γεμάτος σκοτεινιά και συναισθήματα,γεμάτος αναπάντητα υπαρξιακά ερωτήματα,γεμάτος δέος για αυτό που μόλις άκουσες....
Ένα καλό και σημαντικό βήμα για αυτή την νέα μπάντα με καλό ήχο και παραγωγή που μπορεί να συνεχίσει και να τα πάει ακόμα καλύτερα,και με πιο μεγάλη την δικιά τους υπογραφή στης δημιουργίες!!!

Within The Fall is a doom / death metal band from Sweden (the country kind nouns). Started in 2010 and have released a demo in 2011 a single in 2012 and this EP.
Clearly influenced by the Swedish hard sound (like Entombed, Opeth, Nightrage etc) but little from Paradise Lost and Candlemass, will introduce you to the four tracks on the disc.
The EP begins with "Into The Arms Of Grief" whose vocals fernothn much in the brutal Opeth and Entombed style riff out in death and misery, as you listen to gets a deep melancholy and cold crashing your thoughts.
We continue with the second track "Leaving" (which existed in previous single) a slow piece (initially my music brings to mind a bit and generally Nyktalgia SDBM) a piece dedicated to the sadness and nostalgia and the isolation of people , a piece that truly touches with its own, separate, "wild" way!
The third track titled "Shadows And Dust" brings to mind the intense late parts of the "Left Hand Path" and some of the melodic / acoustic parts of Nightrage, also comes to mind and the gothic / doom side with little Katatonia , Opeth and Paradise Lost (mainly from the first album). A piece that drifted into the black dress of the misery and suffering of s.
And the fourth piece of the most melodic and soft disc "The Burial", which once again takes you to the haunting, melancholy and uncomfortable cold parts of the north with soft sounds of acoustic guitar and drums and towards the end with the electric riffs argosyrta can you stand speechless and full of gloom feelings, full unanswered existential questions, full of awe for what I just heard ....
A good and important step for this new band with good sound and production can continue and doing even better, with the biggest signing their own Joined creations!
